I haven't changed the engine oil
for the last six months. Is it ok ?
Most of the Motorcycle and Scooters
these days have a longer service interval
owing to the better grade of Engine
Oil used during the service. All manufactures
specify the Service interval both in
terms of time and distance traveled
and the same should be adhered to. If
the Motorcycle or Scooter is being put
to rough usage (hot weather, dusty condition
etc.) the service should be done more
frequently (Refer manufacturer's recommendation).
If you are not using your Motorcycle
or Scooter during the cold winters change
the oil at the beginning of the season
and change it again once you take the
car out.
