the insurance Regulatory and
Development authority (IRDA)
the customer can receive the
payment from the insurance company
against the production of the
invoice generated by the workshop
for the repair work done on
the car. Thus the customer hasn't
first settle the bill with the
workshop before making a claim
for reimbursement. The insurance
company reimburses the amount
to the customer only after verifying
the case and as per the norms
laid down by IRDA.
